The beauty and grace of Cape Cod in
the summer can only be enhanced by a stay at Pleasant Bay
Village Resort, which has long been regarded as a getaway
spot for those with discriminating taste. We have made it
our goal over the years to offer the most distinctive and
uniquely beautiful resort in Chatham. Come and discover our
exotic oriental rock gardens and waterfalls nestled among
6 acres of private woodland, just minutes from the town of
Chatham, just seconds from the peaceful waters of Pleasant
Bay.
Enjoy the morning newspaper and a gourmet
breakfast in our elegant dining room furnished with authentic
18th Century antiques, overlooking our lovely outdoor pool
surrounded by whimsical Oriental gardens. In season, lunch
is served poolside from the grill. This resort feels as though
its a million beautiful miles from civilization on some far
away isle. An isle, that is, with every amenity a visitor
could want.
Pleasant Bay Village has fifty-eight
rooms, efficiencies, and suites, and every one is furnished
in impeccable contemporary style. Original art from some of
Cape Cod's well-known artists adorns the walls, and every
accommodation, from rooms to two-bed-room suites, is comfortable,
private, and quiet. All accommodations are extremely clean
and meticulously maintained and feature direct dial phones,
air conditioning, refrigerators, heat, hairdryers, irons,
daily maid service, private baths, cable TV, and turndown
service (in season).
Activities abound on Cape Cod - take
a day trip to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket, charter a sport
fishing boat, go on a whale watching tour or take a water
taxi to a secluded beach. Go antiquing or gallery browsing.
Golf or simply relax on the beach with a book. Dine out in
our many fine restaurants and enjoy native lobsters, steamers
and the freshest seafood available anywhere. Whether you enjoy
beach going, fishing, boating, shopping, hiking at the National
Seashore, biking on the Cape Cod Rail Trails, Friday Night
band concerts, or nearby golf and tennis; Pleasant Bay Village
is ideally located in Chatham, the Cape's most lovely and
charming town.
